About the Project.
In this project I designed a beach navigation app to help plan spontaneous visits or weekend hangouts at the beach with ease. Being able to filter through them by distance, popularity and see which ones are accessibility friendly, have rentable seats and so on. I used a refreshing summer palette such blue and orange which are complementary colors that remind us of a warm sunny day at the shore that will leave us the taste of orange juice and sea salt, vacation vibes.

I chose to design an eye-catching landing page with a full preview of the home screen using vector elements of splashing waves to unite everything together.
Logo Design
I combined the icon for location used in maps and the waves of the sea to convey that the app helps users “find their wave” (beach).

Making sure the design gave the user all the information needed without over crowding the screen making the design simple and easy to navigate through while also implementing it’s summer vibe theme.
Solution.
following a strict style guide to make sure all screens will be unified with the theme while also taking inspiration from similar apps and organizing everything in carousel cards for easy navigation.
